Great service and a great waitress too. Left her a 20.00 tip, however my meal came to only 32.00. I know do to hard economic times many people aren’t tipping or tipping the bare minimum. I say this to anyone who is seeing this review if you are in a comfortable position in life please take care of your waiters and waitresses. I would recommend Russo’s NY Pizzeria to my business associates and friends too. I am new to Houston coming from Charlotte, NC and I am very particular about my pizza, however I will say this restaurant makes a quality NY style pizza.

I was in the mood for italian and this restaurant had great reviews so I visited with my family last week. First, the serving was great and Jasmine specifically was very kind and courteous. We ordered a lot food and across the board, it tasted authentic and fresh. My mom ordered the bruschetta and absolutely loved the fresh tomatoes and toast. I ordered the shrimp pistachio penne pasta and it now my favorite italian food! We also got the heart healthy artichoke pizza and the cauliflower pizza (my aunt was feeling health conscious) and everybody loved their food! There menu is massive so I look forward to trying out different items each time we go

first time in real pizzeria restaurant in usa. I of course tried a pizza. there is clearly a difference of quality with the usual chains. it is on the expensive side but the dough is well made and being baked in a pizza oven makes it way better. crispy on the outside and soft inside. so good i even enjoyed eating the crust. the dinind area is very clean, the atmosphere is cosy and intimate, the brick wall design gives a old days restaurant look. the service is top notch, from the ordering to the step out of the restaurant. not too much like harassment or not too little like we feel we bother the staff. i will definitely come back to taste the other items from the menu, keep it up guys

My wife picked up a calzone, a salad and garlic cheese bread and brought it home. The doppio pepperoni calzone only rated 3 stars for me, not much in the way of filling. My wife loved her Tuscan salad with chicken added, her, me and one grandbaby gave the garlic cheese bread 5 stars. The people working here were very helpful and nice. I wouldn't do this same calzone again but i might return for a pie. This was our first visit to eat in and it was much better. Vanessa was our server and she took good care of us. My wife enjoyed Eggplant Parmigian with foccacia bread and spaghetti. I went with the gigantic slice of pizza with a choice of salad, i chose the Hawaiian for a change of pace and a Greek salad. The slice was history but my wife had a lot of leftovers she'll enjoy.

The pizza was terrific. The Wisconsin cheese had great flavor, texture and an absolute mus t; it had a really incredible pull! The crust was nice and thin and held up with the sauce and copious amount of cheese. The only negative for me was the atmosphere. This place deserves better than a commercial strip across from a mall. I will be back, in fact I will be back again before the week is out!

So the staff is supper friendly and helpful as today was my first time at Russo's. This restaurant is a bit at the pricey side but in my opinion you get what you pay for. I got the pizza slice which was very well made and tasted awesome. My wife got some spicy Diablo pasta thing and it did not disappoint with the spicyness. Adding shrimp is 6 which seems like a bit much but at least it was good shrimp. All in all definitely recommend good environment.

Great pizza join with good pasta and salad choices. I love the Sicilian Olive Oil Garlic Sauce. The clam chowder is pretty darn good too. An unexpected plus. Tried the garlic Parmesan wings. Very good. Well fried. Good sauce.
